Foundations

CrossFit Del Mar is in Solana Beach because this is a town that gets it — people who want to move well, stay sharp, and be part of something that actually holds them accountable. That's what we're here for.
The gym is clean, well-run, and direct. The coaches are attentive without being performative. The members range from people who've been training CrossFit for a decade to people who walked in last Tuesday with no idea what they were doing.
We don't recruit people with promises about transformations or before-and-after photos. We just run good classes, coach real movement, and let the training speak for itself.

Questions
Do I need CrossFit experience to start?
No experience needed. Our Foundations program is specifically for people new to CrossFit. You'll learn the core movements in a small group setting before stepping into regular classes — so when you arrive, you know what you're doing.
How fit do I need to be?
You don't need to be fit to start. Every workout is scaled — the weight, the movement, the intensity. We meet you where you are and build from there. That's what coaching is for.
What happens in a typical class?
A coach runs the whole hour: warm-up, skill or strength work, the conditioning piece, and a brief cool-down. Movements are explained and demonstrated. You'll finish knowing exactly what you did and why.
What are your class times?
We run classes in the morning, midday, and evening. Email us and we'll share the current schedule so you can find something that fits your week.
How much does membership cost?
